An Online Position Error Correction Method for Sensorless Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine With Parameter Mismatch

To eliminate the influence of parameter mismatch for fundamental model based sensorless methods, an effective online position error correction method is proposed permanent magnet synchronous machines in this paper. Based on derived mechanism, i.e. varies proportionally to dq -axis currents, injects a sinusoidal current signal with small amplitude and low frequency into $d$ - or $q$ short period. During injection, corresponding response injection can be acquired from estimated speed observer. It found that decreases as reduces, eventually reaches minimum if there no mismatch. Thus, by applying least mean square (LMS) algorithm, minimised parameters are adaptively adjusted actual values, then corrected. The validated through experiments generator drive system.
